COMPETENCIES BASED MANAGEMENT

As caring of the human element in the organization is the basis of their success, the competencies is a key element in the HR processes (attraction, selection, training and development, corporate performance evaluation, job performance evaluation, replacement and succession, bonuses, compensation, etc.

The concept of competencies appeared in 1971 and it was a breakthrough for the corporate development and excellence where the organizations became interested in the concept of competencies, apply it, and developed and enhance their concept among its staff. The concept of competencies simply means the outcome of knowledge, skills, behavior, and qualities necessary for the employee to perform his duties to the fullest. Therefore, the competencies became a strategic and mimic the company's strategy through the so-called corporate competencies and the operational processes of the organization through the operational / job competencies.
